Why is this important for your project?

KSQ Technology supplies professional and honest service. Coupling nuts are generally designed to connect two separate threaded fasteners. Some applications require that the coupling nut fully engages the fasteners, which means the threads need to align perfectly. For most cases, a single diameter of thread engagement is sufficient. Therefore, many coupling nuts are tapped from each end, meeting in the middle. This allows rod engagement of approximately 1.5 diameters but prevents the fastener from threading entirely through the nut.

Because the ends are tapped separately, the threads often do not align continuously at the center. As a result, you can't usually thread the coupling nut past its midpoint unless the threads happen to match up by chance.

However, with our stock, ungraded coupling nuts, which are tapped from only one end, you can thread them the whole way through.
